Tags

The Tags feature allows you to restrict access for personnel and organize customers and systems.

Create a Tag

To create a tag for customers or systems, complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to Dealer Admin (dealer.securecomwireless.com).

  2. Go to Settings > Tags.

  3. At the top of the page, select the Add icon.png (Add) icon.

  4. Create a Name and Description for the tag.

  5. Add the tag to systems or customers.

Limit Tag Access

To limit personnel to only see systems with specific tags, complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to Dealer Admin (dealer.securecomwireless.com).

  2. Go to Personnel > Custom Roles.

  3. In Custom Role List, select an existing role or select the Add icon.png (Add) icon to create a new custom role.

  4. In Limit Access, select the Tags dropdown menu and choose a tag to apply to the custom role.

  5. At the top of the page, select Save.

Search Customers by Tag Name

Once you have created a tag, you can search customers using the tag name applied to them. To search customers using a tag name, complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to Dealer Admin (dealer.securecomwireless.com).

  2. In the menu, go to Customers.

  3. Enter the tag name in the search bar.
