Delete a System

Deleting a system from Dealer Admin removes the system and its programming but doesn’t deactivate cellular modules.

To deactivate a SIM before deleting a system, go to Settings > Dealer > Security Features, then select the Automatically Deactivate Cellular Communicators checkbox to enable this feature. For more information, refer to Deactivate Cellular Communicators.

Note: If Digital Key credentials are enabled and the system you are deleting is set as the billable system for Digital Key credentials, you will be asked to choose a a new billable system. For more information, refer to Digital Key Credentials.

To delete a system from Dealer Admin, complete the following steps:

1. Go to Customers, then select the customer’s name.

2. In the row of the system that you want to delete, select the (More) icon.

3. Select Delete.

4. A dialog pops up to confirm your decision, which informs you whether the cellular communicator is set to automatically deactivate upon deletion or remain active under your billing. To delete the system, select Delete System.
