Network Options

This programming option allows you configure network communication for the panel. While programming Network Options, keep in mind the following notes:

  • A 763 Wi-Fi Module is required in order to send alarm signal communication.

  • IP addresses and port numbers may need to be assigned by the network administrator.

To program Network Options, complete the following steps:

  1. If you are using Wi-Fi, enter the Wi-Fi SSID. This is the name of the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to.

  2. If you are using Wi-Fi, in Wi-Fi Security, select one of the following network security types your router uses:

    • WEP

    • WPA

    • None

  3. If you are using Wi-Fi, enter the Wi-Fi Passphrase. This is the passphrase that allows you to connect to your network.

  4. Toggle Use IPv6 ON to use a local IPv6 address.

  5. If the panel uses a dynamic IP address, toggle DHCP ON. When enabled, the panel uses DHCP and not the Local IP Address.

  6. If you are not using IPv6 or DHCP, enter the Local IP Address. Ensure the address is unique and cannot be duplicated on the network. The default address is 192.168.000.250.

  7. Enter the Gateway Address. The gateway IP address is needed to exit the local network. The default address is 192.168.000.001.

  8. Enter the Subnet Mask. The default address is 255.255.255.000.

  9. Enter the DNS Server address used by the panel to resolve domain names into IP addresses. The default address is 192.168.000.001.

  10. Enter the 734N Listen Port used to send communication to the panel. Ensure the 734N Listen Port matches the Panel IP Port programmed in the 734N or the 734N-Wifi. The default is 2002.

  11. Enter an 8 to 16-character 734N Passphrase to encrypt communication with the 734N. Ensure the passphrase matches the 734N Passphrase in Communication programming for the 734N.

  12. Toggle X1/XR Communication if you want the XR you are programming to communicate with other X1s or XRs on the same site.

Note: To use this feature, toggle XR/X1 Communication ON for all X1 and XR systems you want to communicate with each other. Ensure all systems have the same XR/X1 Passphrase.

  1. Enter an 8 to 16-character XR/X1 Passphrase.

  2. Select the image-20260211-204344.png (More) icon, then select Send Network Options.
