Output Options

This programming menu allows you to program panel output options. The panel provides two Form C relays (1 and 2) and four switched ground (open collector) outputs numbered 3 to 6.

Expand the system up to 500 additional relay outputs using any LX-Bus on the panel, or multiple 716 Output Expander Modules. In addition, 45 wireless outputs are available when using the 1100XH Series wireless receiver. Refer to the XR Series Installation Guide for complete information.

Complete the following steps to program Output Options:

  1. In Cutoff Output, enter which wired outputs (1-6) apply to the Output Cutoff Time.

  2. In Output Cutoff Time, enter the number of minutes from 0-99 that the programmed Cutoff Output remains on before automatically turning off.

  3. In Communication Fail Output, enter the output numbers that turn on when a communication failure condition occurs.

  4. In Fire Alarm Output, enter the output numbers that turn on when a Fire or Fire Verify zone goes into alarm. The outputs turn off when all the zones restore to normal.

  5. In Fire Trouble Output, enter the output numbers that turn on when a Fire or Fire Verify zone goes into trouble, or when a Supervisory zone goes into alarm or trouble. The outputs turn off when all the zones restore to normal.

  6. In Panic Alarm Output, enter the output numbers that turn on when a Panic zone goes into alarm. The outputs turn off when all Panic zones are restored and a sensor reset is performed.

  7. In Ambush Output, enter the output numbers that turn on when User Code 1 is entered at the keypad.

  8. In Entry Delay Output, enter the output numbers that turn on when the Entry Delay begins. The outputs turn off when the area disarms or when the Entry Delay timer expires.

  9. In Begin Exit Output, enter the output numbers that turn on when the Exit Delay begins. The outputs turn off when the area is armed or arming stops.

  10. In End Exit Output, enter the output numbers that turn on when the Exit Delay ends. The outputs turn off when the system is disarmed.

  11. In Ready Output, enter the output numbers that turn on when all disarmed zones are in a normal state. The outputs turn off when any zone is not normal.

  12. In Disarmed Output, enter the output numbers that turn on when all areas are disarmed. The outputs turn off when an area is armed.

  13. In Telephone Trouble Output, enter the output numbers that turn on when phone line trouble is detected.

  14. In Late to Close Output, enter the output numbers that turn on if a closing schedule expires without all areas armed. The outputs turn off when all areas are armed, closing is extended, or the schedule is changed.

  15. In Device Fail Output, enter the output numbers that turn on when a programmed keypad bus device does not respond to polling. The outputs turn off when the device responds or is deleted.

  16. In Sensor Reset Output, enter the output numbers that turn on when a sensor reset is performed. The outputs turn off 5 seconds after being turned on.

  17. In Closing Wait Output, enter the output numbers that turn on if the receiver acknowledges the Closing Wait operation (if programmed). The outputs turn off 4 seconds later.

  18. In Arm-Alarm Output, enter the output numbers that turn on steady if any area is armed. Alarms cause the output to pulse until 3 minutes after disarming.

  19. In Supervisory Alarm Output, enter the output numbers that turn on a Supervisory zone is in alarm. The outputs turn off when all Supervisory zones are restored to normal.

  20. In Armed Home Output, enter the output numbers that turn on when the system is armed home. Alarms cause the output to pulse until 3 minutes after disarming.

  21. In Armed Away Output, enter the output numbers that turn on when the system is armed away. Alarms cause the output to pulse until 3 minutes after disarming.

  22. In Armed Sleep Output, enter the output numbers that turn on when the system is armed sleep. Alarms cause the output to pulse until 3 minutes after disarming.

  23. In Heat Saver Temperature, enter the temperature (F°) that sends to all Z-Wave thermostats when the system is armed All or Away. When the system is disarmed, the thermostats return to the previous temperatures.

  24. In Cool Saver Temperature, enter the temperature (F°) that sends to all Z-Wave thermostats when the system is armed All or Away. When the system is disarmed, the thermostats return to the previous temperatures.

  25. In Carbon Monoxide Output, enter the output numbers that turn on when a Carbon Monoxide zone is in alarm. The output turns off when an area is armed.

  26. In Lockdown Output, enter the output numbers that turn on during a lockdown. The outputs turn off when an authorized user ends the lockdown.

  27. In Zone Monitor Output, enter the output numbers that turn on when a zone trip sounds the Zone Monitor. The outputs turn off 2 seconds later.

  28. Select the image-20260211-204344.png (More) icon, then select Send Output Options.
